Responsibilities - Lead a team of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining large scale web applications Design and implement highly scalable, interactive web applications with high usability Design and implement backend application interfaces for data and services Support production software operations Collaborate with product owners to define software requirements for programming effort Qualifications and experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline 14+ years of software development experience 5+ years experience with Java, Springboot, Kafka, Docker, AWS, GIT. 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience in Microservices architecture, Containerization, API Management. Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, preferably Oracle, Aurora other AWS cloud offerings Experience working on an Agile Environment with great collaboration skills Excellent knowledge on o Performance & scalability o Various design patterns and integration patterns o Source code & defect management system o Unit testing, code review and code profiling tools Experience as a mentor, team lead, influencing others, or related leadership experience. Experience with onshore-offshore model of software delivery. Effectively partner with global leaders to understand the vision and product roadmap and be a local evangelist for that vision and product roadmap. Facilitate and ensure seamless communication with the local and onshore team members to create a well-functioning global ?ONE? product team Ability to establish relationships with business, IT leaders and technology subject matter experts Ability to lead and work closely with different teams, able to learn quickly, meet deadlines and demonstrate advance problem solving and analytical skills Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.
