Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Samanta Traders located in Malda. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting and financial tasks, such as maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, handling tax-related matters, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The Accountant will also be responsible for supporting the preparation of budgets and financial statements, and providing financial advice to management.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting designation (e.g. CA, CPA, CMA, etc.)
- Experience in accounting and financial management
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial laws and regulations, and tax laws
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a similar role or industry is a plus
