Job Description
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The BI Developer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide insights into our organizations data.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL processes to extract transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data marts.
- Develop and maintain data models data cubes and data visualization dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI Tableau or QlikView.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data analysis needs.
- Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify trends patterns and insights that drive business decisions.
- Implement data quality and data governance best practices to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BI solutions including performance tuning and optimization.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence development.
- Proficiency in SQL programming and database concepts.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or QlikView.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Qualifications
- Certification in relevant BI technologies.
- Experience with cloudbased BI platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning and predictive modeling.
