Job description
We are looking for an experienced Creative Strategist to provide our creative team with guidance and ideas to launch new impressive projects. You will devise the concepts and strategies for a particular venture and will monitor its progress. You will be able to implement your creative vision and become the point of reference for any creative plan that wants to make its way to the customers.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and marketing strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion.
- Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members.
- Ensure that all of the organization's or client's creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.
- Design and manage client calendar to ensure timely publication.
- Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics.
- Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
- Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that meet clients' needs as well as our own.
- Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team.
- Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.
- Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution.
- Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a creative strategist or in a similar creative role for 3+yrs in a reputed agency.
- Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development.
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a creative vision that matches client briefs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients. Experience using social media for business.
- A solid grasp of art history, design history, photography and the visual arts, pop culture, and counterculture; fluency in current technology, politics, a deep understanding of the zeitgeist of social tastes and current affairs.
- Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
- Extensive experience in 360 degree marketing with knowledge of all mediums Print, Radio, TV & Digital.
- Need to have networking skills to attract new talent from the same industry.
- Solid writing and editing skills in English.
- Time-management skills.
- Creative & problem solving skills.
- BSc in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field.
