Job description
Firmware & Devices – Developer – with C Expertise 7+ years Proven experience as a Firmware Developer with a strong focus on C programming with knowledge of C# for integration. Maintain firmware for first party devices – develop enhancements, support 3rd party library updates – primarily C for NXP Cold Fire and Microchip PIC32 microcontrollers. Design, code, test, and debug firmware for embedded systems using the C programming language. Optimize firmware code for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless communication between software and hardware. Identify and resolve firmware-related issues through thorough debugging and troubleshooting. Experience in hardware engineering – electrical and mechanical. Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and Microsoft Office applications Written and oral communication skills BS in EE or Computer Science desired Degree required.
