Job description
Design and development of Vision based test automation system using NI-LabVIEW, NI-Vision and TestStand technologies. Achieving automation by HW-SW integration using NI and third-party tools. Retrofitting to custom code, refactoring and maintenance of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - 1. Design of architecture 2. System Integration 3. Coding in LabVIEW, TestStand and NI-Vision 4. Requirement Gathering 5. Progress reporting and technical communication to stakeholders 6. Bug fixing and reporting 7. Application documentation
Technical Skill Set: - An ideally suitable candidate will have: - Minimum 8 Years of experience in instrumentation domain with NI tools and technologies out of which minimum 6 Years of experience in core LabVIEW application development. NI Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or equivalent demonstrated coding expertise. NI-Vision application development experience in at-least two end-to-end projects. ATE /ATF/Test bench/ATS test system design experience at architecture level. Understanding of industrial automation domain preferably having experience on robotics and vision-inspection system. Worked on system engineering requirements and design involving HW and SW integration. Possess all soft skills to fulfill beforementioned roles and responsibilities. And it will be a plus if he/she has: - NI-TestStand knowledge. Knowledge of HW design and embedded system Knowledge of test & measurement instruments e.g. Digital Oscilloscope, Function Generators, Touch-panel HMI or vending machines.
