Job Overview YoHo Designs Pvt Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately estimating and monitoring construction costs, ensuring projects are delivered within budget. This is a full-time position suitable for a Fresher with less than 1 year of experience.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost calculations and data analysis
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and interpreting construction drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Roles And Responsibilities - Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for Residential projects based on detailed plans and specifications
- Estimate and manage costs throughout the entire construction process, from initial design to project completion
- Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions to optimize project budgets
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and up-to-date cost information
- Conduct site visits to assess work progress and verify quantities
- Prepare and submit regular cost reports to senior management
- Evaluate contractor bids and provide recommendations
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Stay updated with the latest construction industry trends and cost estimation methods
