Job description
Understand the business requirements and develop in-house Oracle technology solutions used internally by Payroll Operations Team using PL/SQL, APEX (Oracle Application Express), JavaScript, CSS and HTML technologies. Produce technical and functional documentation for developed applications. Provide technical support to Payroll Team Members. At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, including development experience.Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or related field.Work from the office in Bangalore, at least three days a week.Responsibilities :Developing and supporting APEX solutions (Oracle Application Express using PL/SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML) or other Oracle technology solutions for Global Payroll Operations.Liaising with Payroll Operations teams to understand processes requiring automation and optimization. Recommending and implementing best solutions upon approval from Payroll Management.Communicating and estimating the implementation timelines for the development efforts.Organizing and coordinating calls with all project stakeholders using appropriate resources to ensure the delivery of the implementation is in line with the scope and previously agreed upon timelines.Coordinating testing process with relevant teams; following up on bugs tobe fixed to ensuring a timely closing.Preparing technical documents and clear user guides in specific format agreed with the Global Payroll Operations management and ensuring documentations are updated in a timely manner.Tracking the work progress using internal platform.Open to learning new tools and solutions.Ensures good communication with higher management regarding specific issues of the department’s activities.Participates in internal and multi-functional projects; collaborates seamlesslywith multi-functional teams in developing solutions that are in the best interest of Oracle.Is a good teammate, sharing their experiences and offering constructive feedback whenever needed.Performs any other duties assigned by the Direct Supervisor, to ensure the team provides payroll processing service accurately and timely.
