Utilizing the Cambay Consulting 360 model as a guide, our consultants take clients on a journey through strategy, implementation, customization, and support, ensuring exceptional customer experience at every step of the way. - As a Senior Consultant, you will elevate Cambay Consulting's relationships with our clients by approaching them through a customer experience lens and architecting bleeding-edge technology solutions which address their business challenges. A mindset focused on writing software that is well tested, secure by default, and performs at scale that can support millions of connected devices is a necessity. You must be able to collaborate with others well and work effectively on your own projects with little oversight.Key Accountabilities :- Develops sustainable business relationships with clients, gaining increased knowledge of their needs and challenges to implement effective solutions through Cambay Consulting offerings.- Assists business development with project requirements. Develops related estimates and aids in completing the Scope of Work (SOW).- Demonstrates concern for meeting client needs in a manner that provides satisfaction and excellent results for the client, leading to additional opportunities within the client account.- Conducts related needs analysis and gathers client requirements. Successfully installs, configures, deploys, and customizes Cambay Consulting Solutions for multiple clients.- Creates and/or conducts testing to validate those solutions that meet specifications of the Statement of Work (SOW). Ensures assigned projects are delivered in alignment with Cambay Consulting best practices.- Demonstrates leadership responsibilities on projects of diverse sizes. For example, may assist the team manager with project identification and assignment as needed. Ensures consultants are aware of timelines associated with assigned tasks.- Follows industry technology trends through self-study and formal training and shares that knowledge internally and externally via white papers, blog posts, and social media. - Completes at minimum one (1) certification exam a year. - Creates, maintains, and submits an accurate weekly timesheet in compliance with time reporting procedures.- Contributes to the financial success of the company by maintaining high utilization or support hours. Perform tasks at hand in a customer friendly manner while utilizing time and resources efficiently and effectively.- Technical: Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts; proficient with Office products.Supervisory Responsibilities :- Project leadership responsibilities, but no formal supervisory responsibility.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :- 3+ years in a professional services environment in the software industry- Ability to create modern web dashboards using standard HTML and JavaScript technologies for demonstration.- Hands-on experience with Unix (Linux MacOS), Docker, Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and web servers.- Ability to autonomously pursue elegant solutions to open-ended problems.- Demonstrate experience with continuous integration and agile software development.- Practical experience with SDLC tools like Git/GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira and Jenkins- Experience with major cloud offerings for compute, storage, and networking- Understanding of protocols for enterprise communication (SOAP, JMS, AMQP), web server communication (REST, JSON, MQTT), device communication (BLE, Zigbee) and industrial communication (MODBUS, CANBUS, SNMP)- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze issues quickly.Highly Desired Skills & Abilities :- Familiarity and experience with IoT-specific development issues, including challenges associated with programming small sensor devices.- Experience with cloud services and tools (Google, Azure, AWS)- Proven track record of identifying and championing new technologies that enhance software quality, developer productivity, and end-user experience.- Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.- Experience with IoT devices like Raspberry Pi as a gateway communicating with sensors.- Experience in Manufacturing domain- ClearBlade Software: Edge Computing software running secure, real-time, scalable industrial IoT applicationsEducation and Experience :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field preferred.- Minimum of 5-10+ years' experience working with relevant tech stack in a professional services environment.- At least 1 year of experience leading project teams, either formally or informally.- Experience with relevant skills per Skills Addendum for associated discipline.
