Job description

Position: Head of Human Resources (HR)

Experience: 15-20 years

Location: India (with international oversight)

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources with extensive experience in managing HR functions across multiple locations, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. This role will oversee HR operations for 8 offices in India, 2 abroad, and a manufacturing plant in Paithan, ensuring effective management of a diverse workforce of approximately 500 employees. The candidate should be well-versed in overseeing manufacturing and sales personnel, along with expertise in managing compliance issues such as ESIC, PF, and other statutory regulations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates across various departments and locations.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
Lead performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.
Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Drive initiatives to promote employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Manage payroll functions, including coordination with finance and third-party vendors.
Ensure compliance with ESIC, PF, and other statutory requirements across all locations.
Act as a liaison between HR and other departments, fostering collaboration and communication.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the HR team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as an HR leader with 15-20 years of progressive responsibility.
Extensive knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance requirements, and regulatory issues.
Experience managing HR functions in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
