Job description
The role of the Marketing Manager SPT would be to work in an effective way to support the best decision-making and reach our unit s growth ambition for the pillar. The mission of the incumbent will be to create, develop & deploy a successful innovative marketing plan to support the sales growth for the SPT channel.
Support the work of the marketing team on all projects from product launches to promotions and be involved at all levels.
Continuous measurement of market data and product ranges. Ensure the necessary knowledge to implement a successful marketing plan that will leverage sales performances.
DIMENSION:
Work with all the Marketing manager, cluster head, Regional Business Managers, and sales teams all over India Local Suppliers including garments, merchandising displays, printers, etc Total Indian customer database Pet Shops & Medical Stores
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the PSR pillar growth , volume and NSV targets for the year , manage the marketing budget , organize customer meeting/events ,new product launch , drive numerical distribution . Working closely with cross-functional team / regional & global team to create and deploy pillar strategy. Working closely with digital team in media campaign plans
Analyze data periodically, both pillar wise and area wise and plan for innovation marketing interventions accordingly.
Optimize the impact of Pillar driven program ( Loylaty / Engagement program / CAT MAN )
Continuous measurement of market data and product ranges. Ensure the necessary knowledge to implement a successful marketing plan that will leverage sales performances.
Regularly train and coach the sales team to ensure a consistent brand image quality in the market. Organize trainings for the customers as per a planned schedule.
Optimizing and managing the marketing budget for the PSR pillar
Ensure the A,B,C,D categorisation project for the pillar is updated regularly and marketing plans are designed accordingly for each level.
Liaison with the creative agency for all internal and external creative.
Manage the above the line print plans for RC in conjunction with print media partners
PROMOTIONS:
Plan for innovative promotions to build buzz and reach for RC.
Plan for a Promo in the POS pillar in line with the company CSR ambitions. Organizing for the promotion material and tools on time.
Coordination with Logistics for any co- packing.
Implement, follow-up and analyze the results of promotional campaigns.
Ensure Promo tools and stands are ordered from France as per the marketing plan designed and these are accordingly ordered in a phased and executable manner in coordination with logistics and sales.
PRODUCT LAUNCHES:
Plan for the forecasts of the sku s to be launched, as well as the area wise targets. Ensure all approvals are received as per timelines for launch
Co-ordinate the tools for the launch.
Ensure the sales team implements the tools correctly. Follow-up of launch with sales team.
MERCHANDISING:
Communicate effectively and coordinating with local suppliers, to develop local marketing tools.
Plan and maintain a record for all merchandising done in outlets across pillars.
Inform, engage, and follow sales team achievements during marketing and merchandising campaigns. Assist in maintaining a record of all the marketing material in physical and electronic form.
Track the merchandising stock level at warehouse and manage efficient distribution of the tools into the market.
Ordering all marketing tools and coordinating with logistics when receiving or sending tools. Making sure all tools are in the warehouse in time for distribution.
Updating and sending a list to the sales teams to order tools regularly.
DIRECT MAILERS:
Maintain the pet owner data base for the country and regularly update the same. Maintaining Customer database for all the pillars all over India.
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Working experience within a marketing department or advertising agency. (optional)
Working experience within global businesses (multinational working environment)
Computer literate on Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign. (optional) Event management skills would be a plus.

Education & Professional Qualification
Master s degree in (Marketing) -MBA
Knowledge/Experience
Minimum 8-10 years marketing work experience, relevant sales experience could be considered.
