Our clients an established able Company with global presence, with offices and operations in 22 countries and a passionate team of more than 2600 people. handling 21 product categories across agricultural commodities, processed Agri products, Agri Inputs, Industrial Chemicals and FMCG food products.

Job Title Business Unit Head - FMCG
Location - Africa, Nigeria, India (who are willing to relocate.)
Salary : Upto 15000 USD plus all expat benifits.

Objective/Purpose of Job Manage PNL for FMCG Business
Budgetary Responsibility Production, Importation, and sales

Duties & Responsibilities

Route to Market Distribution:
Formulating and execution effective and cost-efficient route to market strategy.
Increase the width and depth of distribution across channel, focus on expansion in Philippines /Malaysia / US/ Europe

Business Development:
He is responsible for expansion of existing business in all dimensions and to bring new sustainable business ideas to venture into Philippines /Malaysia / US/ Europe.
Evaluating sales budgets periodically including manpower-planning initiatives and ensure adherence to planned expenses.
Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and competitor moves to achieve market share metrics. Agility to react ahead of time in decision making.

New product development
Identifying and developing new products in line with our overall strategy fit which will introduce streams for long-term revenue growth. Growth with a goal to identify larger and sustainable category.

Channel Management:
Trade marketing: Planning executing customized merchandising/signage s consumer promotions for accelerated business growth.
Customize Zone wise/channel wise approach based on TOT, no of visibility points, business, service levels, activities trade spends.
Tie up with National distribution company to have a better reach in a cost-effective means.

Profit & Loss
Responsible for FMCG business PNL
He should focus to run the business with a mindset of ownership. Build business with sustainability and scalability.
Marketing and Digital Strategy
Digital campaign plays significant role in our marketing strategy, he should have sound knowledge and understanding of digital marketing and social media campaign.
Sound knowledge of 'Below the line' and 'Above the line' promotion and understanding where and when to use such tools most effectively.
knowledge of dealing with advertising agency and creative production is and added advantage.
Operation

Managing large scale of operation and ensuring effectiveness of sales team and pull up productivity per person .

Risk Management
key focus on risk management and risk mitigation. Managing operational risk, Business risk, fidelity risk is part of the role.
Procurement & SCM:
Keeping close eye on international and local procurement., Supply chain Management and most efficient and economic means to benefits business.
Keep within country logistics within the budgeted limit and an endeavour to reduce the TAT.

Administration & HR Role:
Keeping a close eye on financial numbers, sales and collection and element of risk is one of the important KPI of FMCG Head.

Strategic Role
Expansion is one of the key strategic pillars for the FMCG Head. Driving profitability of the business with new and innovative ideas.
Identifying and networking with channel partners, develop the distribution channel, resulting in deeper market penetration and reach.
Responsible of the communication and positioning of the products, in store activities and trade.

REQUIREMENTS:
Specialized knowledge: FMCG preferably from nuts background
Skills: Sales/ BD, marketing, operation management, PNL responsibility.
Abilities: Good communicator and presenter, leadership skills, crisis management.
Other characteristics such as personal characteristics: Sharp, Agile, Resilient, Analystical
