Job description
Work Experience:-
Years of exp. desired: 3-15 years Nature
Layout, Design & Development of Body in White (BIW) Parts, Hood, Trunk-Lid, Automotive Glasses, Small Plastic Parts, Hood Latch, Fuel Lid Mechanism, Cables etc. (Experience can be in few of the areas out of the areas mentioned above & need may not be in all areas).
Experience should include Preparation of 3D Model & Drawings in any of the software (preferably Unigraphics but not limited to UG only).Also, basic knowledge of Sheet Metal Forming/Joining process & Plastic Parts process including Dies, Tools, Molds & fixtures & also working with suppliers.
KRAs:- Key Responsibilities
Parts Concept Thinking, Design & Development of BIW Parts, Vehicle Front of Rear Facia, Glasses, NVH Parts etc.
Checking Feasibility w.r.t Regulations, Manufacturability & Assembly, engagement with CAE team and taking countermeasures, confirming testing performance, resolving issues etc. Weight & Cost Management.
