About the Role:
Assistant Manager - Category , Hotels plays a pivotal role in deriving actionable insights for category growth and building hotels strategy. You will be closely working with cross functional teams to combine data points from alternate sources for category and leadership teams. The candidate needs to be well versed in analytical tools and languages namely SQL, Advanced Excel, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau/Power Bi etc. Roles & Responsibilities: Gather requirements, design, and build reports and dashboards to support category and leadership needs. Ability to translate structured and unstructured problems into analytical frameworks. Ability to understand business nuances and their implications. Design and create comprehensive analysis to understand business outcomes and scope to grow. Design, create, program, or operate different platforms like Power-Bi, Tableau, Data Studio and have good knowledge of advanced SQL, Excel, other scripting languages including Python/R etc Hands on Experience in Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive analysis and provide actionable insights (from data analysis) to stakeholders. Build metrics improvement roadmaps with insights for course correction and achieve category targets. Preferred Candidate profile : This role requires strong analytical skills, 2-4 years of business analysis experience, and a background in computer science, mathematics, or statistics. Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI tool, combined with adaptability in fast-paced environments and effective stakeholder engagement, is essential. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Advanced level expertise in MS Office applications, with good presentation skills Good handle of SQL, Excel, other scripting languages (Python, R etc) Strong working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, etc) Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, both within and outside function Experience of working in a fast-paced environmentJob tags
