Job Description:
The college is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join the faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of pharmacy practice and conducting research in this area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver courses in pharmacy practice to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Mentor and advise students in the pharmacy practice program, providing guidance and support in their academic and professional development.
- Conduct research in pharmacy practice, with a focus on innovative solutions that meet the ever-changing needs of society.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Participate in college and departmental committees and activities, contributing to the overall development and success of the college.
Qualifications:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or a Master's degree in Pharmacy Practice or related field with a focus on pharmacy practice.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching and research experience in a reputable educational institution.
- An active research agenda with a record of publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals.
- A commitment to innovative teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches that engage and motivate students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and students.
- A passion for the field of pharmacy practice and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the industry
