Title: Training Lead Location: Bangalore [Onsite] R&D Office and Experience Center About River: River is an electric vehicle startup building multi-utility scooters. The company builds products ground up with a strong focus on design and engineering. Currently, the company is in the expansion stage with our factory being set up and getting ready for our vehicle delivery in August. River is a fast growing company with a team of 200+ right now and is backed by marquee international investors - these are mobility focused funds backed by some of the big names in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop Training Framework: Design and implement a comprehensive training framework for all customer-facing staff, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives. Create a structured approach to training delivery, incorporating various learning methodologies and resources to enhance effectiveness. Curriculum Development: Develop engaging training curricula and modules tailored to the needs of customer-facing staff, covering topics such as product knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques. Regularly review and update training materials to reflect industry trends, best practices, and evolving customer needs. Training Delivery: Lead training sessions for customer-facing staff across the country, utilizing a combination of in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and self-paced learning modules. Foster a positive and interactive learning environment, incorporating activities, role-plays, and multimedia presentations to make learning enjoyable and effective. Learning Enhancement: Innovate and implement creative strategies to make learning fun and engaging, such as gamification, interactive sessions, and video-based tutorials. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and produce high-quality training videos and other multimedia resources. Certification and Assessments: Design and administer certification programs and assessments to evaluate the proficiency and competence of customer-facing staff. Develop metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives and track employee performance over time. Qualifications: 6-9 years of experience in training or a related field. Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a customer service, auto or tech related industry. Strong instructional design skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective learning materials. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with experience leading interactive training sessions. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms. Creative mindset with a passion for making learning enjoyable and impactful. Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capability to manage training initiatives across multiple locations.Job tags
