Job Description: Python Developer - Sanctions

Location:

Mumbai

Responsibilities:

As a Python Developer focusing on Sanctions, you will be responsible for both enhancing existing applications and developing new initiatives within the Sanctions/NNS suite of applications. Your duties will include:

- Collaborating on customizations to meet evolving business needs within the Sanctions/NNS suite. - Participating in architectural and infrastructure enhancements. - Designing, developing, testing, and deploying code following Agile principles. - Communicating effectively with global teams. - Adapting rapidly to changing requirements and learning new technologies. - Employing sound judgment to comprehend complex business use cases and develop appropriate solutions. - Utilizing financial domain knowledge, including AML and Customer Risk ranking methodologies, to enhance applications.

Skills Required:

- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Python 3 - Writing unit tests using Pytest or Unit test framework - Proficiency in Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, SOAP, XML - Strong database design skills including SQL, procedures, and query tuning - Understanding of Service Design Concepts, Object Oriented, and Functional Development concepts - Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies and DevOps tools & methodologies - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with Microservices concepts and High-quality software architecture and design methodologies such as SOA - Ability to modernize the ecosystem in an iterative approach - Experience in creating Architecture Design Review documents - Proficiency in Linux and Shell Scripts - Experience with REST Services using Fast API - Knowledge of AI/ML Python libraries - Familiarity with Angular UI

Note:

The role involves processing large volumes of Customer and Real-time Transactions screening for Sanctions and Adverse Media screening, providing responses in sub-second.
