- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Programming and Scripting:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Ruby).
- Scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Scripting for monitoring instrumentation (Python, Go, Groovy)
- Serverless technology (KNative, KEDA, SAGA, Step Functions, Lambda)
- Cloud Platforms:
- Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Containerization and Orchestration:
- Docker and containerization concepts.
- Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.
- Monitoring and Observability:
- Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Dynatrace).
- Log aggregation and analysis (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk).
- System Anomaly detection (Dynatrace, Datadog)
- Alerts, Notifications and Alert Event Driven Automation
- Relational and NoSQL Databases:
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Security and Compliance:
- Understanding of security best practices.
- Compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCIDSS).
- Troubleshooting and Incident Management:
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- ITSM Integration and incident workflow
- Incident response and on-call experience.
- Performance and Scalability:
- Load balancing and scaling strategies.
- Performance testing and optimization.
- Deep understanding of NFR requrements and System Design elements(HA, Failover, Clustering, Resiliency, Bandwidth, Distributed Architecture)
- Translation cabability of system/application SLI, SLO and SLAs with Monitoring KPIs
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- DevOps Culture:
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Agile methodologies.
- Project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Bachelors Degree:
- Only CS/IT/CE/Electronics background.
Experience Required: 5 to 7years
