Job description
1. Design and construct equipment, including machinery, systems, and components
2. Create specifications for components based on customer specifications and customer's manufacturing capabilities
3. Review and revise designs as necessary; schedule and coordinate necessary design reviews with the customer
4. Research and propose alternative designs to customer's specifications
5. Manage design reviews, engineering changes, and component or system modifications
6. Plan and supervise the fabrication, assembly, and testing of component or system prototypes
7. Manage project costs
