About the job
Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner for Sales will collaborate closely with sales leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that foster organizational and people development. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with senior sales leadership to identify HR needs and develop strategic solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement.
Provide guidance and input on sales team restructures, workforce planning, succession planning, and sales team performance.
Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, manage, develop, and retain top sales talent.
Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations when needed.
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to sales management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Offer leadership training and development, including coaching, workshops, and team-building exercises.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure alignment between HR practices and sales objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role with a strong understanding of sales environments.
Excellent people management skills and ability to engage with staff at all levels.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical and goal-oriented.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
