Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our clients business focusing on export/import. This role demands a skilled leader adept at navigating the complexities of the global trade environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the companys strategic direction, overseeing all aspects of business operations, and ensuring that the company achieves its financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the companys business strategies to attain the goals established by the board of directors and shareholders.
- Financial Management: Oversee the companys fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing. Ensure the management of the P&L (Profit and Loss) to optimize the companys financial performance and strategic position.
- International Trade Expertise: Lead and expand the companys presence in international markets, including overseeing export and import operations. Navigate regulatory, logistical, and cultural challenges associated with international trade.
- Business Unit Management: Manage and optimize operations of business units with international branches or sales units, ensuring efficient and effective operations across different regions.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with international clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement. Oversee the development and implementation of strategies for maintaining and growing the companys client base.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with and manage internal stakeholders, including board members, investors, and employees. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders relevant to the companys international trade operations.
- Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management skills, fostering a culture of performance excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements - Experience: Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience, ideally with a focus on export/import, with a proven track record of successful management of a P&L role.
- International Trade: Extensive experience in international trade, including knowledge of export and import business practices. Previous experience managing a business unit with international branches or sales units is highly preferable.
- Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability in managing international client relationships and negotiating contracts. Strong skills in engaging and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Leadership: Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating teams to achieve excellence.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage effectively with a variety of audiences at all organizational levels.
- Education: A Master's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals or related field is preferred.
