Role Description
We are looking for a SharePoint administrator to join our IT team and manage our onPrem SharePoint environments and SharePoint Online including the whole Microsoft TEAMS M365 E3/E5 universe. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of our SharePoint systems and applications. You will also be involved in automating tasks and workflows using Microsoft Power Tools and Azure Functions.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, update, and maintain SharePoint servers and applications.
- Monitor system performance, availability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint functionality, connectivity, access, and data integrity.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures for SharePoint administration and usage.
- Provide technical support and training to SharePoint users and developers.
- Automate tasks and workflows using Power Tools and Azure Functions
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure the integration and compatibility of SharePoint with other systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a SharePoint administrator or similar role
- Proficient in managing onPrem SharePoint environments and SharePoint Online
- Familiar with Microsoft TEAMS M365 E3/E5 features and functionalities.
- Skilled in using Power Tools and Azure Functions for automation.
- Knowledgeable in SharePoint security, backup, recovery, migration, and disaster recovery best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
- Certification in Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Experience in working with hybrid or cloud-based SharePoint environments.
- Fluent in German or English
