Requisition Description:
Skills required: Experience in designing and developing KPI dashboards, reports, and visualization using BI tools like - Crystal reports, Business Objects, Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) or Microsoft Analysis services (MSAS), Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, PoweBI, SpotFire. Knowledge of Data Warehouse/data integration technologies and principles, ETL processes. Hands on with Database technologies like Oracle, MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008R2 TSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL Familiarity with data visualization best practices, understanding of data governance and data quality principles. Experience in complete SDLC, project management concepts and Agile delivery methodology Ability to develop and maintain project plans, schedule, and work breakdown structures for projects and be accountable for adherence to these project plansand estimates. Ability to communicate project status, deliverable progress, and risks and issues to stakeholders andleadership in a timely manner. Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with the Business and Development teams. Understanding of cloud deployment architecture and Big Data platforms would be added advantage (good to have skills) Experience in Banking Domain would be good to have. Roles and Responsibilities: Understand customer requirements, problem statements and business use cases. Document customer requirements. Understand Customers business domain and existing database schema. Review existing report design, database schema, SQL code and provide recommendations to enhance performance, operational aspects etc. Design Solutions/POC in the range of applications in reporting domain. Estimate, definition and engagement of projects. Project Management and coordination activities. Developing project scopes and clear business objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility Take part in daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospective, and review meetings. Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills which may require debugging at OS, database, or network level, if neededJob tags
