Job description
We are having an urgent opening for the position of Network Administrator for a reputed Company at the Pune location.
Overall Summary:
Monitor, maintain, secure, and support all levels of the core IT infrastructure for our global enterprise spanning 60+ remote locations, data centers and cloud data centers. Monitor the environment to ensure maximum security, stability, efficiency, performance, and integrity of global infrastructure resources.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
General Duties and Responsibilities: (What you will be doing)
- Create technical metrics that report the overall health of the infrastructure and establish baseline performance expectations
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Implement, monitor, and maintain the instances of on-premise and cloud infrastructure services
- Work closely with IT peers and vendors to answer technical questions or resolve issues with performance and access
- Monitor security and hardware logs and proactively work on problems before they are reported
- Develop and deploy proactive solutions and setup alerts to ensure system stability across the organization .
- Participate in the testing of disaster recovery procedures.
- Physical installation of network and server gear into racks and upgrading? hardware and software components as required
- Maintain topology diagrams and documentation for network infrastructure and services
- Coordinate with internal business partners for opening or closing of branch offices
- Act as point of escalation and overflow for Support Technicians
- Provide technical leadership and training to Support Technicians
- Perform occasional scheduled maintenance on nights and weekends. and provide 24x7 on-call coverage as part of an on-call rotation

- Implementation and administration of firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and wireless LAN controllers
- Ordering and administering ISP, MPLS, MoE, and other WAN circuits
- Working knowledge of data, voice, video and wireless communication
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with networking technology (Router, Switch, Firewall, and Wireless)
Education and Experience: (Practical Experience)
- 1-2 years of managing and monitoring IaaS or PaaS in the public cloud?
- Strong knowledge of telephony and Unified Communications technologies (Microsoft Teams)
- Knowledgeable in Azure hybrid cloud integrations
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject, or equivalent experience
- Industry Certifications (Azure, O365, MCSA/E, CCNA, GSEC, CEH)
