Position Summary:  

Cappella Sports is seeking a visionary Head of E-Commerce to spearhead our online retail operations. This role is pivotal in amplifying our digital footprint and exponentially growing our e-commerce business across our own platform and various marketplaces. The successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling our operations, ensuring exceptional returns on ad spend (ROAS), and significantly enhancing our social media presence and engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·  Strategically grow the e-commerce business, aiming for a 4x increase on CappellaSports.com and a 5x increase on marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart.

·  Expand our market presence by establishing Cappella Sports on additional e-commerce platforms.

·  Maintain a ROAS consistently above 20, employing efficient and innovative marketing strategies.

·  Amplify the social media presence and engagement of Cappella Sports, FZ Forza, and Kawasaki Badminton, ensuring a substantial growth trajectory.

·  Recruit, nurture, and lead a dynamic team of e-commerce and digital marketing experts to achieve and surpass business objectives.

·  Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy for Cappella Sports and our associated brands, reinforcing our market position and brand equity.

·  Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to adapt and pivot strategies effectively, ensuring Cappella Sports remains at the forefront of the industry.

 

Requirements

·  Proven experience in building and leading an e-commerce team from the ground up.

·  Extensive expertise in managing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operations and marketplace dynamics.

·  In-depth knowledge of social media and marketplace marketing, with a strong operational background.

·  Demonstrable success in scaling an e-commerce business, with a track record of generating annual revenues of INR 15 crores or more.

·  Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for market trends and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

·  Strong leadership qualities, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving lofty goals.

·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with stakeholders across various levels.

·  Should have working knowledge of Shopify and other platforms.

 

Desirable:

·  A background in sports retail or a passion for badminton would be a significant advantage.

·  Familiarity with international e-commerce markets and the ability to navigate the complexities of global online retail.
