Job Description You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the visual and interactive components of a Magento e-commerce website. You will work closely with back-end developers to ensure that the website's front-end design and functionality are seamlessly integrated with the platform's back-end operations. Role and Responsibilities: Theme Development: Create and customize Magento themes for visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Responsive Design: Implement principles for optimal user experience across devices and screen sizes. HTML/CSS Coding: Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices for Magento platforms. JavaScript Development: Create interactive features using JavaScript, integrating third-party libraries as needed. Magento UI Components: Utilize and customize UI components to enhance frontend functionality. Collaboration with Designers: Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement design mockups. Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance by minimizing page load times and optimizing images. Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure Magento site compatibility across various web browsers. Magento Upgrades: Stay updated with the latest Magento releases and implement necessary changes. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, identify and troubleshoot bugs, and collaborate with the development team. Documentation: Maintain documentation for frontend code, configurations, and customizations. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in frontend development. Requirements & Skills ● Overall 1 to 3 years of experience in frontend development ● Experience in the latest Bootstrap and responsive HTML/LESS/SCSS ● Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues ● Basic experience in design tools (photoshop, illustrator, adobe xd, figma etc ● Ability to work with Javascript and AJAX ● Basic understanding of JSON, Jquery ● Understanding of version control systems like Bitbucket & GIT ● eCommerce experience in Magento/Shopify ● Hyva theme experience will be big plus About Company Upbott Consulting Private Limited, is a new age boutique ecommerce technology and marketing consulting company, catering to B2B and B2C e-Commerce businesses in the US and UK.
