We are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst II to join our Accounts Payable team in Bangalore, reporting to the manager of Accounts Payable in our Global Treasury Organization. In this role, you will handle Accounts Payable Operations and engage in all aspects of Accounts Payable activities for over 20 geographical locations. What you'll do: - Handle our global payment process, including supplier and employee payments
- Complete various Accounts Payable tasks with minimal supervision, including processing and auditing Accounts Payable invoices in our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, managing holds, reviewing duplicate invoices, and more
- Handle work-related queries adhering to agreed SLA and TAT
- Understand process exceptions
- Develop an understanding of controls, including audits and SOX requirements, as applicable to the process
- Manage month-close activities and be able to close AP sub ledger books on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with other functional teams, including Accounting, Procurement, FP&A, and other stakeholders
- Report on aging and accruals and initiate the process to resolve delayed payments
- Prepare various reconciliations, including purchase cards and sub-ledgers
- Prepare process metrics, and work to continually improve the process
What you'll bring: - Minimum 6 years of experience in accounts payable operations
- Experience with global accounts payable processing in a multi-national corporate environment
- In-depth knowledge of a large enterprise ERP system, like Oracle Fusion or SAP, for accounts payable modules
- Knowledge of global payment administration structure, including various payment methods, types, and banking systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge on Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in documenting E2E process, SOP's , process flow charts, list risks and mitigation plan
- Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, and/or economics
What success looks like: After six months, you will…
- Learn the Accounts Payable process end-to-end
- Understand the key drivers for unprocessed invoices and be able to come up with resolutions
- Consolidate the Accounts Payable data for key performance indicators and analyze and identify variances
After About a Year, You Will…- Analyze and improve the process based on metrics
- Become well versed in global Accounts Payable, handle payments, and understand exceptions independently
- Learn the bank portal functionalities and requirements to upload payments
- Train on cross functions like travel and expense processes, vendor master, payroll, and procurement
