Roles & Responsibilities-: 1:
- Lead engineering programs involving FEA for new product designs and modifications to meet customer requirements.
- Participate in finite element modeling and analyze problems in thermal and thermo-fluids domain in high and low temperature range.
2:
- Involve in finite element modeling and analysis in structural domain responding to linear and non-linear problems.
- Conduct finite element modelling and analysis related to cyclic loading and multi-physics domain.
- Support strategic planning and deployment of additional CAE modeling processes to accelerate product development.
3:
- Translate actual problem to FEA model, interpret, analyze results and select best solution for failure modes using Root Cause Analyses.
- Review project-related analysis result to ensure project accuracy, interpret analysis results and convert them to design suggestions / solutions.
4:
- Work closely with product testing lab for results validation and develop new models
- Investigate opportunities to limit required testing and reduce developmental and certification costs with FEA analysis
5:
- Work in a team environment and review, guide and coach the fellow engineers both at the US and India locations in Modeling and Simulation activities
CTQ-: TQ 1 o Must be experienced in Structural simulation software and FEA techniques, including modeling and mesh generation, have experience in validation of simulation with measurements and data post processing, system level heat transfer, thermal simulations and vibration analysis. o Ability to drive FEA projects with end-to-end ownership.
CTQ 2 o Extensive knowledge of Modelling and Simulation Domain. o Expertise in Microsoft Office environment. o Team player in Multidisciplinary Cross functional team.
CTQ 3 o Collaboration with external partners /vendors for product developments o Should have excellent communication skill. Both Verbal and written.
CTQ 4 o Understand and applies multi-objective optimization design (MOD) techniques using the capabilities available in ANSYS o Ability to excel in a highly dynamic work environment.
