Role Summary: As the inaugural Business Unit Head for Innovation amp; Growth, reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our multi-product strategy. Your leadership will be instrumental in building and scaling our product management function to support ambitious growth objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the CEO and product team, driving the vision and direction of our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities - Pamp;L Ownership: Own the Pamp;L for the Google Cloud vertical, developing revenue and sales strategies to drive business growth within this specific segment.
- Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the development and execution of strategic plans to drive innovation and accelerate growth within the business unit.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle within the Google Cloud vertical, ensuring seamless integration and delivering superior value to our customers utilizing Google Cloud technologies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration across operations, engineering, marketing, sales, and other key divisions to align efforts and drive product success, with a focus on integrating Google Cloud services.
- Market Research and Innovation: Stay ahead of market trends, leveraging insights to shape our product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Market Segmentation Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of marketing segmentation to develop targeted strategies.
- Business Unit Focus: Provide leadership and guidance for key business unit. Demonstrate strong business amp; tech acumen to meet the goals to the business unit.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Foster an entrepreneurial culture within the organization, encouraging innovation and creative thinking.
Requirements - Minimum 7 years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within a SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of scaling Learning/SaaS products, ideally targeting the SMB/mid-market segment, with experience specifically within the Google Cloud ecosystem being advantageous.
- Experience building and leading geographically distributed product teams, with an understanding of how to effectively utilize Google Cloud tools for collaboration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and growth.
- Experience working with C-level executives and influencing decision-making.
