Job description
Job Description :- Lead the software testing lifecycle, including planning, designing, executing test plans, and reporting for loan projects within the banking and finance sector.- Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks for efficiency and reliability.- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure banking software requirements are met and align with industry standards and regulations.- Troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues in the banking application systems.- Work closely with development teams to implement test automation strategies for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).- Oversee the end-to-end testing of new banking applications from development through to production.- Validate financial and banking software functionalities, including transactions, data integrity, performance, and security compliance.- Document software defects and monitor their resolution, keeping track of bug fixes and re-testing as necessary.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior testing staff.- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients to ensure their requirements are met.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and compliance matters that may affect software testing and validation.- Direct involvement in the go-live process, ensuring all aspects of the project are tested and ready for launch (ref:hirist.tech)
