Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Supports Manager with review function for routine accounts receivables, invoicing and credit management tasks.
- Supports Manger with client receipt application management, exceptional reporting including analysis of periodic management reports.
- Assisting manager in continuous review of the projects, quality management of deliverables and providing technical support to the team when needed.
- Supporting Manager in keeping continuous co-ordination and effective communication with overseas stakeholders and higher management.
- Have an eye to identify the potential automation areas to create more efficiencies and assisting the manager for putting them into perspective to build up the cases for further solutions.
- When needed, supports Manager with financial reporting, treasury (including banking, mandates), and internal controls in the Country.
- Review existing Finance Processes, develop process flowcharts, provide recommendations on improvements, and implement changes.
- Assigning priorities for operations and high-quality services delivered to all business stakeholders
- Manages and resolves stakeholders’ issue, performing root cause analysis and proactively suggesting process improvements with the understanding of Financial Control Matrix
- Ensuring adherence to process and controls while executing the processes
- Support month-end and year-end close processes and develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Coach junior resources in Finance Shared Services Center in improving their technical skills.
- Assist FSC Manager with the preparation, review and monitoring of Finance Shared Services Dashboard
- Assist Manager with internal or external audits.
Candidate Specification
Candidate specification:
- MBA with 5 to 7 years of experience in Account Receivables (AR) or Credit Management field.
- Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Willingness to undertake business travel as required around or outside India
- Flexibility to work longer hours at peak times as required
- Self-starter and ability to take initiative in other roles.
