The role of a Quality Analyst includes responsibilities from understanding requirements till the final delivery of the end project. Proactive communication, active participation in all meetings and discussions, appropriate test planning and delivery of required documents are the key areas to focus on. The candidate applying for this role is expected to have 2 - 5 years of Manual Testing experience. Desirably in Web Testing. 

What you’ll do:

• Understand the scope of projects based on the requirements shared and create test detailed and comprehensive test plans 
• Identify the test scenarios based on features and modules and create detailed test cases for the same 
• Segregate test cases for the different test types and execute them on builds in the appropriate sequence 
• Report defects for deviations found at all functional and non-functional levels 
• Create summary and detail reports for all testing performed, and share it to the stakeholders as needed 
• Follow industry best practices and quality bars 
• Mentor junior engineers, help the peers and provide input to seniors based on experiences 
• Attend and contribute to the stakeholder meetings 
• Proactive and clear communication in all modes 

• Always a team player, ready to help, keen to learn and work towards progress of team and organization 

Who you are:

• Worked on widely used domains or understand the same, if not worked 
• Experienced in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases 
• Hands-on experience on all commonly used Black box testing techniques 
• Experienced in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum development processes 
• Experienced in use of a Test Management System like TestRail, Zephyr, QMetry, qTest etc. 
• Experienced in use of a Ticketing system like JIRA 

What you bring: 

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineer or a related subject is preferred
• Proven work experience in Software Testing 2 to 5 years
