Job description
- Support and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.
- Foster a positive work culture through facilitating team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist in the administration of the bi-annual Employee Engagement Survey and support leaders in developing and executing meaningful action plans.
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees to ensure they understand key company policies and procedures.
- Administer badges to employees .
- Implement performance management systems to drive employee productivity and development.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting effective performance evaluations and setting performance goals.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote open communication and a positive work environment.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and work with our Learning & Development Specialist to coordinate training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and maintain accurate HR records.
- Monitor time recording system.
- Conduct market research to ensure fair and equitable pay practices.
- Track the tax related documents and salary disbursement for employees.
- Participate in annual salary negotiation process.
- Work with third-party payroll provider to audit and review payroll.
- Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and other company-provided perks .
- Work with external vendors to ensure the effective delivery of employee benefits.
- Define and follow HR process in partnership with US HR team.
- Maintain employee database and reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What youll bring:
- Bachelor s/ Master s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR professional in India ; international HR experience a plus
- Deep appreciation and focus on the employee experience
- Ability to collaborate closely with HR team in the US
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
