Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for Engineer that will oversee all aspects of the purchasing process, including ordering, purchasing, supplier management, shipping and inventory.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Extract open PO Report - Convert PR to PO.
- Negotiate with supplier to obtain the best cost (as applicable) and delivery requirements.
- Communicate with supplier for PO acknowledgement and confirmation.
- Ensure on time material availability against promise delivery date and build plan.
- Collaborate with finance for supplier on time payment.
- Support team to prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports for suppliers.
- Escalating supplier delivery issues to supply chain manager and planning team.
- Ensure zero past dues and 100% material availability at plant against PO delivery date.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum of 1 years of purchasing / procurement / supply chain experience
- Excellent computer skills and a technical aptitude that includes strong data gathering skills, expertise, interpretation and reporting for supply chain organization.
- Sound communication skill to deal with suppliers (domestic and global)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with expertise in data analysis and management.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering with min 1 years of experience.
