Job description
Professional will be responsible for creating and producing high quality films/video content for a variety of purposes. He/she should be versed with the concept of film making its various steps such as scripting, development of plot, recording of the required footages and editing etc. and will be responsible for all the documentation requirements like photography, videography, making of various types of films, animation etc.
Role And Responsibilities - Concept development: Conceptualizing ideas and developing them into visual content. Deep understanding of storytelling, scriptwriting, and visual aesthetics to develop compelling stories and scripts.
- Pre-production planning: Planning the production schedule, scouting locations, and developing a budget plan for the project. Work closely with film production agencies and freelance photographers/videographers to ensure that everything is planned efficiently.
- Production management: Overseeing the production process from start to finish. Manage the film crew, ensure that everyone is working efficiently, and oversee the filming process.
- Post-production: Responsible for editing the films, including selecting the best footage, audio editing, and colour grading. Adding special effects and animations to enhance the visual appeal of the films.
- Budget management: Managing the budget for the film projects. Ensure that the project is completed within the allocated budget.
Desired Skill-set - Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of the technical aspects of film production, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and editing.
- Project management: Oversee multiple projects at once and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Communication: Effective communicator who can clearly and persuasively convey ideas to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Creativity: They should have a strong creative vision and the ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas for film projects.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with others, including crew members, and other departments to ensure the success of the project.
- Attention to detail: Keen eye for detail and be able to spot potential problems or issues that may arise during production.
- Organizational skills: Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Problem-solving: Think on their feet and come up with creative solutions to unexpected challenges that arise during production.
- Knowledge of the industry: Good understanding of the film and television industry, including trends, regulations, and best practices.
