In this highly selective program, the participants would enter the ISL’s ecosystem, which would nurture them as young social leaders. They will get direct entry into ISL’s leadership camp, and they will be provided with mentors in India and abroad. Through continued engagement that begins in 9th grade, they will be equipped with skills and knowledge to help them get into college and support them until they graduate. Adira is a self-paced program that allows students to work asynchronously in some capacity.

The Associate / Manager, STEM Curriculum and Facilitation will work with the curriculum team under the guidance of the Director of Curriculum and Facilitation.

The candidate will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and facilitating learning spaces for students who are selected for the Adira Program. This will involve designing and delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences that are tailored to the needs of the students and that help them to develop the knowledge, skills and strategies they need to successfully navigate high school and competitive exams in STEM.

The candidate will also be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring tools that will guide the evaluation process of student learning.

The candidate will work closely with other members of the organisation to identify areas where the program can be improved and to implement changes that will enhance the experience of students. This may involve collaborating with program designers to refine the curriculum, working with facilitators to improve the delivery of learning experiences etc. Overall, the candidate will need to be highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of adult learning theory and principles of program evaluation. They should also be committed to the organisation's mission of supporting changemakers and creating a positive social impact.

The position will be decided based on qualifications and experience.

Professional Experience

1. Educational background in STEM.

2. Passion for STEM education and youth development.

3. Proven facilitation and coaching skills.

4. Direct experience working with adolescents, either in formal or informal educational settings. 5. Detail orientation and organisation skills.

6. Data analytical skills.

7. Fluent in English.

Personal Characteristics

1. Resourceful self-starter.

4. Clear communicator.

6. Responsive to feedback and changing needs.

Proximate Experience

1. A strong understanding of Indian culture and regional differences is highly desirable 2. Experience with working with ESL learners.

3. Familiarity with Khan Academy.

4. Verbal communication skills in Hindi are preferred but not necessary.
