Job description
L&T SuFin is a B2B Ecommerce Platform which will leverage L&T's deep knowledge and capabilities in Procurement (through its huge volume of annual procurement) and Logistics, Financing, and IT solutions. This platform is essentially a digital marketplace for SME buyers and sellers (mainly focused on construction and industrial products & services) to connect in an efficient manner, thereby enabling sellers to expand their sales reach, and for buyers to find required products and services at optimal cost and quality .
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationship with existing Customers and pitching for Repeat orders by cross selling and upselling.
- Work directly with suppliers to obtain bids on new or ongoing projects.
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices including resolving their issues and queries.
- Be able to work centrally with team members and other cross-functional teams to understand their requirement and get competitive quotes from Pan-India vendors.
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
- Be able to coordinate centrally with other departments within a company for the purchase of specialized materials or equipment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant/Officer or Sourcing Officer/Manager.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures and complete procure-to-pay cycle.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of market research.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Fluent in Hindi and English
- Must be Mumbai based
Qualifications:
. Engineer Graduate must
- MBA would be good to have.
. 4+ years of experience in Procurement
. Good at negotiations, followup, liasioning etc.
. Good at communication, building relationships, extracting information and convincing to place new orders - A Sales Profile / Relationship management.
