Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)
Primary Skills (Must have): Mechanical background Technical writing & Translation (Fr. to Eng. / Eng. to Fr.) Electrical & Mechanical drawings Industrial Process knowledge Aircraft Knowledge (structure/cabin/Elec) Tool proficiency (SAP) Secondary Skills (Nice to have): Collaborative work Quality & Delay-oriented Pro-activity Main Responsibilities: Verify and approve mechanical drawings. Update routings, including tools reference and document management. Utilize O9 Tool for notifications and creation of Technical Specifications (SO1). Create and update routings and SOI (Statement of Intent). Provide support for PPV (Production Part Approval Process) activities. Check and process requests for Design Data Set Sign off. Subskills: -Definition of Industrial Means: Demonstrate proficiency in defining and implementing industrial means within aerospace manufacturing processes. -DMU Integration: Integrate Digital Mock-Up (DMU) techniques into the manufacturing process for design verification and validation. -Design Data Set Checking & Delta Analysis: Conduct thorough checking of design data sets and perform delta analysis to identify and address discrepancies. -Routing Creation: Create detailed manufacturing routings considering tools, time calculations, and Statements of Intent (SOI). -Time Calculation & SOI Creation: Calculate manufacturing times accurately and create Statements of Intent (SOI) accordingly. -Routing Validation: Validate manufacturing routings to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the production process. -Refurbishing: Implement refurbishing processes to optimize the use of existing components in manufacturing. -Outstanding Work Management: Manage outstanding work efficiently, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions. -NC & NSI Creation: Create Non-Conformance (NC) reports and Non-Standard Instructions (NSI) as needed for manufacturing processes. -PPV (Production Part Verification): Perform Production Part Verification activities to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications. Tools: SAP PEA / PGI / PEM AIRINA Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related field. AME A&C/Avionics certification. Relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing. Competencies: Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Proficient in technical writing and translation between French and English. Familiarity with electrical and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of industrial processes in aerospace manufacturing. Understanding of aircraft structures, cabins, and electrical systems. Experience with SAP tools (PEA, PGI, PEM) and AIRINA. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Quality and detail-oriented approach to work.
