Technical Expertise:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of LAN technologies (STP, VLAN, VTP), network management protocols (NTP, ACL, VRRP, VSF, VSX, HSRP), and Telnet.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Aruba ClearPass and Aruba Airwave.
- Deploy and configure DHCP services.
- Conduct troubleshooting and configuration changes for routers and switches.
Broad outline of the Role The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and expertise in LAN technologies, Aruba network equipment, network management, and troubleshooting. This role involves maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting network problems to ensure the smooth operation of our mission-critical networks. The candidate will work closely with clients, OEMs, and the internal team to provide second and third-level support for network-related issues.
Responsibilities: Network Equipment Management:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Aruba controllers, access points, switches, and wireless controllers (models: 7240, 7210, 315, 515, 375, 305, 315, 205, 105, 203, AP11, 2930F, 3810M, 5406, 8320, 8400).
- Manage Aruba Mobility Master, ClearPass, and Airwave NMS.
- Deploy and configure Cisco switches.
Network Support:
- Provide second and third-level support for mission-critical networks in a 24x7 environment.
- Handle P1 tickets related to wireless and ClearPass.
- Coordinate with OEMs and clients to address network-related issues.
- Resolve high-priority incidents and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis for network outages and propose preventive solutions.
- Generate weekly network-related reports for management.
