Job Summary:
The Technology & Data Solutions (TDS) business unit is the Syneos Health accelerator for life sciences innovation. TDS houses our advanced technology acquisitions, homegrown products & applications, actively participates in new M&A and partnership activities, delivers critical insights as part of our
integrated strategy for customers and drives enterprise-wide adoption and change management for innovative tech & data solutions. Our work supports getting meaningful new medicines to patients faster, with greater positive impact.
This position supports our business goals by supporting a software design project (various components throughout the software development life cycle) for our customer under the supervision of a team lead.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to work as a member of the development team. Assist in gathering requirements, documenting needs as well as workflows to support product development.
Perform user testing, create test data and scripts. Document findings and debug with project team members for high quality output per specifications from customers.
Analyze results and present findings, partner with the development team to meet documented customer needs.
Ability to build applications to support new product offerings.
Ability to collaborate across the development team in meeting customer needs.
Qualifications
· A PhD in information systems/Data Engineering / Data Science or the ability to demonstrate future graduation in one of these disciplines or related fields.
· Good knowledge and understanding of programming concepts and principles. Exposure to SQL, Python, R, or another programming language.
· Knowledge of UNIX-based operating systems.
· Knowledge of Oracle and SQL is highly preferred.
· Strong written and verbal skills, attention to detail is required.
