Job description
Designing Control Systems for Naval Platforms
- Designing network architecture for SCADA system, PLC or VME based remote terminal units, and command consoles along with redundancies
- Defining ConOps of the system
- Calculating power requirement of the system
- Preparation of schemes, cable schedule and equipment schedule for a control system
- Preparation of interface control document
- Understanding and experience of computer networks and communication protocols, SCADA systems, VME, VPX and PLC Technologies
- Hands on experience on 3D CAD and MATLAB, MS Office tools is desirable
- Understanding of Electrical system schematics and interfaces with other systems
- Knowledge of National and International standards related to electrical systems, ability to understand design rules with proficiency of using the same in electrical and control systems
