Job description:
As the HVAC Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our HVAC operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. You will lead a team of technicians and support staff, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems and maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
ï'· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HVAC department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
ï'· Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
ï'· Provide leadership and guidance to the HVAC team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
ï'· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
ï'· Collaborate with other departments to coordinate HVAC activities and support overall business objectives.
ï'· Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
ï'· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
ï'· Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
ï'· Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on departmental activities and performance.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENT:
ï'· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
ï'· Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
ï'· Proven track record of successfully managing HVAC projects and teams, delivering results on time and within budget.
ï'· Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
ï'· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
ï'· Proficiency in MS Office suite and HVAC software applications.
ï'· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
ï'· Professional certifications such as Certified HVAC Technician (CHT) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred.
