Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an E-commerce Manager at a startup company located in Mumbai. The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's online sales and presence, coordinate with the marketing team, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive growth in revenue and sales.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and organization of the digital product catalog.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product information, including descriptions, images, prices, and specifications.
- Implement SEO strategies to enhance product visibility and search rankings.
- Optimize product listings for conversion by creating compelling and informative content.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and consistency of product information.
- Address and rectify any discrepancies or errors in the catalog.
- Work closely with the merchandising team to coordinate product launches, promotions, and sales events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging product content and campaigns.
- Analyze customer behavior and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Use analytics tools to measure the performance of product listings and implement strategies for improvement.
- Familiarity with the ecommerce platform and ensure that the catalog is aligned with platform capabilities and guidelines.
- Work with IT teams to resolve any technical issues related to the catalog or product listings.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Make recommendations for product catalog enhancements based on market research.
- Focus on improving the overall customer experience by ensuring a user-friendly and informative catalog.
- Gather and respond to customer feedback related to product information and presentation.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate insights for continuous improvement
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders
- Sales: Ability to create and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue
- E-Commerce: Understanding of e-commerce platforms, tools and their applications to drive growth of online sales
- Marketing: Understanding of marketing principles and experience in collaborating with marketing teams to develop campaigns and drive brand awareness
- Project management skills and attention to detail in order to plan, manage, and execute projects that drive growth and revenue for the company, familiarity with project management software/tools is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, e-commerce or related field
