The P&WC engine programs are powering 5 engine markets: regional turboprop aircrafts, general aviation aircrafts, business jets aircrafts, Helicopters and auxiliary power systems on larger aircrafts, which help connecting people and economies around the world.

General responsibilities of the position:

A leader in the global aerospace industry, Pratt & Whitney Canada Leasing, has the largest pool of the P&W rental engines and APUs available in the industry. This pool of assets is deployed strategically throughout the global network to ensure efficient and reliable on time delivery to our customers anywhere in the world. We provide rentals as well as used and new engines sales solutions to the operators in all 5 major market segments: Business Aviation, General Aviation, Regional Airlines, Helicopters operators and Auxiliary Power Units.

This pool of assets serves as the largest inventory of used engine sales and exchanges to the customers. Furthermore, P&WCL is the designated organization to provide new engines spares and exchanges through its popular Fleet Enhancement Program (FEP) as well as freshly overhaul engines sales through the SMART program.

As a member of the P&WC Leasing organization the role of ' P&WC Leasing Strategic Maintenance Planner', will be responsible of managing & Coordinate P&WC Leasing Asset & Engine Exchange ' SMART program ' Maintenance. The role will also require the candidate to act as a market specific Strategic Planner, taking important decisions to ensure product availability to support both rental & sales requirements within P&WC Leaseco organization.

Specific responsibilities of position:

  • Work collaboratively to ensure rental fleet serviceability and availability to support customers
  • Comprehensive understanding of inventory levels and requirements for assigned models
  • Build and maintain working relationship within P&WC Network (Internal Shops and DOFs)
  • Understanding and tracking of maintenance events as they progress through shops.
  • Participate in weekly operations & financial reviews.
  • Manage process mapping to support in P&WC Leasing continuous improvement activities related to customer experience & operational efficiencies.
  • Develops and contributes to maintenance cost reduction initiatives.
  • Play an influential role and motivate team members to achieve targets
  • Lead strategic projects in collaboration with P&WC Leasing team and internal & external stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 to 6 years' experience or master's degree with 3 to 5 years' experience
  • Strong English written, verbal communication & Presentation skills
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Able to work under uncertain environments.
  • Expert in using MS Project, MS Office Suite and CRM tools like SAP
  • Experience in Power BI and VISIO tools.
