Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager at Advance Transmissions located in Bengaluru. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring quality control, managing production schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. They will also be responsible for implementing process improvements, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all aspects of our production process, from planning and scheduling to execution and quality control. Develop and implement production plans that optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Supervise and motivate production team members, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to perform their jobs effectively. Identify and implement process improvements to continuously enhance production efficiency and minimize waste. Monitor production data and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports to management on production performance, budget, and key metrics. Collaborate with other departments, such as planning, inventory, and quality control, to ensure seamless production and delivery of products. Maintain a safe and clean work environment for all employees. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and tools is a plus. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including precision machining and metal fabrication Experience in production planning and scheduling Excellent leadership and team management skills Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities Knowledge of quality control standards and practices Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience in implementing process improvements and optimizing resource allocation Understanding of environmental sustainability practices in manufacturing Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
