Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with customer representatives frequently in order to understand required content.
Responsibilities
- Explain technical ideas in simple language
- Meet with customer representatives to establish technical specifications
- Create user documentation for a variety of material
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in the technology industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand highly technical information
- Hyderabad based candidates or willing to work in Hyderabad ( all 5 days WFO )
- Should be from IT/ Software Domain & have experience into Technical documentation
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or Technical Editor in Software
- documentation such as integration guides, developers guide which includes API
- documentation, feature level documentation, user guides, data flows, and user journey.
- Must have worked on tools such as Postman, MS Word, Confluence, Lucid/draw.io, and Jira.
- Must be aware of SDLC, STLC, and MSTP standards.
- Strong understanding of software development concepts, programming languages, APIs,
- SDKs, web technologies, and developer tools.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical
- concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all technical content.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth research, gather information from technical sources and synthesize it into understandable content.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, product managers, and technical leads.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and DDLC.
- Ability to learn new technologies and products quickly.
