JOB DESCRIPTION

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support Strategic Business Units - Regulator and PRV with price- cost-profit analysis to guide pricing for quotations and orders
• Work out projected profitability, i.e. GP% for a target price and based on product cost data
• Understand quotation/ offer contents like products, certifications, testing, etc.
• Look through the standard database to get cost of each line item
• Work with manufacturing sites to get cost of items outside the database and with functional teams to get cost of special items
• Project GP% for each product line item based on derived cost and selling price proposed by Sales
• Project GP% for the entire quotation/ order
• Create, maintain and update database of special item costs as ready reference for future repeat occurrences
• Create, maintain and update database of Sales $ and GP% by customer, by product, etc.

Who You Are:

You have good attention to details and are able to identify opportunities to optimize cost and work processes. You ensure that the pricing is optimal for improving the project win rate while maintaining project margins. You quickly and significantly take action in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. Works collaboratively with Sales team and factory in Asia.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of pressure relief valves and regulators
• Strong communication skills in English - both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of SAP
• Prefer 2 years' industry work experience with experience in project costing or with providing pricing support for projects.
• Learning agility for fast learning of work processes to provide solutions that are technically proficient and on time
