Job description
The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing multiple small, medium, and potentially large-scale projects across Global Corporate Services (GCS). As part of the GCS Project Management Office (PMO) team, the business analyst will work with various GCS departments and resources as well as resources from Milliman practices. Projects will cover a wide range of topic areas and will vary in complexity, scope, and duration. The business analyst must be a highly organized and self-driven individual who can manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a dynamic and uniquely structured environment. This individual is very collaborative, skilled at facilitating cross-team communication, and capable of working with a variety of personalities and work styles.
Project Management Skills
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure successful delivery.
- Ability to initiate, plan, execute, and close projects, leading them from start to finish.
- Create Project Charters to capture the details of a new project, defining scope and objectives.
- Lead project teams through requirements definition.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules to track and maintain progress.
- Monitor and report on project status.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, involving other resources as appropriate.
- Plan and lead/facilitate project meetings.
- Develop appropriate documentation with the project team, such as: project plans, gap analyses, communication and training plans, design documents, test plans, implementation plans, technology or process diagrams, etc.
- Project budget management.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 1-2 years of project management experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred, or willingness to pursue within 1 year of hire.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software.
- Experience with the application of waterfall, hybrid, and/or agile/scrum project management methodologies is preferred.
- Experience working in a professional service is preferred.
