Overview
The Financial Analyst, Operations Finance will be responsible for managing the product cost approval process, helping develop and support the data analytics environment, and performing financial analysis in key areas, including, but not limited to, holistic margin management, project feasibility analysis, and other ad-hoc requests.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: - Manage product cost approval process with internal teams, leveraging Oracle Agile PLM.
- Ability to work with large financial data sets utilizing query and reporting features in Power BI and Tableau.
- Maintain Financial Performance KPI through financial modelling, variance analysis, cost savings and identify opportunities to improve financial reporting & visibility.
- Support Adhoc insights reporting to management / leadership and prepare FP&A reporting.
- Evaluate business opportunities and risks as well as financial metrics including ROI and payback.
- Coordinate and assist in annual, quarterly, and monthly PF&A responsibilities.
Skills: Required - Financial Data expertise in budgeting/forecasting
- Expert level proficiency in all MS Office applications
- Strong budget/forecast and financial analysis skills
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Good team player
Preferred - Proficiency in Cost Accounting and/or inventory accounting.
- Ability to present financial data with meaningful insights.
Experience: Required - 2+ years of corporate financial planning experience
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics (using Tableau, MS Power BI, or similar tool)
Preferred - Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing software
- Experience with Oracle Agile PLM/PCM software
- Strong international background with multi-national corporate experience
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar field
