Job description
. Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
. Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
. Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
. Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
. Continuing to improve the payment process
. acting as contact points for all agency or organizational personnel
. keeping lists of the agencies or personnel representing the person, agency or organization
. facilitating meetings and cooperation among people, agencies and organizations
. Process bills for payment after ensuring that they are correct and in accordance with tax rates. Make all statutory and tax payments in accordance with policy.
. Set billing terms, inform debtors of payment options, and monitor all transactions.
. Monitor all cheque / cash payments and ensure that minimum account balance is maintained.
. Liaise with government authorities for payment of Luxury Tax and other relevant payments.
. Conduct verification and recording of all fixed assets. Identify assets to be written off, ascertain book value, and assist with correct pricing.
. Ensure adherence to SOPs and prepare MIS report for monthly review. Co-ordinate with internal and statutory auditors by documenting all business, sharing records and participating in assessment
. In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignment given by the management within the scope of job.
. Adherence to the Tata code of conduct, safety policies and values of the organization as defined.
